At Dutton Moore, we value our people. For the firm to progress, our people must progress and to achieve this, all staff have a personalised training programme.

Qualification

For our unqualified graduates, we offer membership and study at the three main organisations for those working in practice:

Staff Development

Dutton Moore are members of SWAT Limited, one of the UK's leading accountancy training organisations. In conjunction with SWAT, individual training and development programmes are designed each year to ensure that staff add practical skills to the knowledge they acquire through professional study and that qualified staff keep their practical knowledge up to date.

In the last four years nine members of the staff have gained either ACA or ACCA qualifications and the firm currently has a further seven students working towards these qualifications and AAT.

Recruitment

Unless a specific need arises the firm usually recruits A-Level school leavers and Graduates. Typical qualifications for A-Level applicants would be three A-Level passes at grade A-C, plus GCSE grade B and above in Math, English and Science. Graduate applications would have at least a 2.1 ideally in accountancy or a science based subject.

Recruitment generally takes place during the spring with a view to employment starting in the summer once results are known.
